Pelaihari, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - Seven sub-districts in Tanah Laut Regency, South Kalimantan, participated in the 2019 Durian Contest held by the Food Crops, Horticulture, and Plantation Agency in Tungkaran Village, Pelaihari Subdistrict, Friday (11/1).
Ahmad Mustahdi, head of the agency, said that the seven sub-districts displayed 90 types of durians in the contest.
"The purpose of the 2019 Durian Contest is to get to know the local durian that Tanah Laut has so they can be developed in the future," he said
For the first winner until the fourth, he explained, they would be taken to follow the durian contest for the provincial level.
"The champions are included in the South Kalimantan Durian Contest on January 19, 2019, at Kiram Park," he said.
