Barabai, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri) has issued a decree (SK) concerning the dismissal of inactive Central Hulu Sungai (HST) District Head H Abdul Latif and subsequently the Deputy Regent H A Chairansyah, who has served as the acting regent, will immediately be definitive.
"It is true, we have received the Ministry of Home Affairs Decree from the Head of the Regional Secretariat for HST and tomorrow we will take it out (to the plenary meeting)," said HST DPRD speaker H Saban Effendi on Monday (7/1) in Barabai.
According to him, there are several DPRD HST agendas later, such as holding a plenary meeting related to the issuance of the Ministry of Home Affairs Decree regarding the HST Regent's status of H Abdul Latif and proposing the appointment of Acting Regent H A Chairansyah to be the definitive regent.
The Ministry of Home Affairs Decree was previously received by the HST Governance Section in Jakarta on Friday (4/1) and submitted to the HST DPRD on Monday (7/1) according to the working day.
HST Regional Secretariat Head Wahyudi Rahmad revealed, besides being submitted to the DPRD, the letter was also handed over to the South Kalimantan Governor, KPU (General Election Commission) in HST, Regent of HST, Deputy Regent of HST, and Head of the State Treasury Service Office in Banjarmasin.
The Decree issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs amounted to three sheets. On the third sheet contains the writing that sets the dismissal of H Abdul Latif from his position as Regent of Central Hulu Sungai tenure 2016-2021.
