Pelaihari, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - The Government of Tanah Laut District, South Kalimantan, held the 2018 People's Market on the Pelaihari Pertasi Kencana Field Square on Wednesday (21/11).
"This People's Market is a routine activity in commemoration of the anniversary of Tanah Laut District," said the Regent H Sukamta.
According to him, the implementation of 2018 People's Market is different from last year. This year the organization is handed over to street vendors who organized in the Uber Rezeki PKL group.
"I and Deputy Regent agreed because the name is the people's market, so they it should be organized by the people, while the government only facilitates," he said.
The event was attended by Deputy Regent of Tanah Laut, members of the local legislative council (DPRD), Head of the Small Business and Trade Cooperative Agency.
In addition, there was also the Chairperson of the Uber Rezeki Street Vendors Association and the 2018 People's Market Organizing Committee.
