Rantau, S Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - The Tapin District Government takes part in an international handicraft trade center (Inacraf) exhibition held at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), April 25-29, 2018.
In Inacraf 2018, Tapin displays a variety of handicraft products from its local small and medium business actors.
At the opening of Inacraft by Vice President H Jusuf Kalla and wife, present Acting Regent of Tapin H Gusti Syahyar, Chairwoman of Tapin Council for National Handicrafts (Dekranasda) H Siti Nuriyani, Head of Industry Agency H Abdul Hadi and local small business actors from Tapin.
Tapin showcasing handmade crafts, such as Dalit mat, jangang caps, purun (grass woven) caps, sasirangan and purun combination bags, sasirangan fabrics, and various rattan handicrafts such as caps, bag, fruit place, flower vase and others.
H Gusti Syahyar said Tapin participation in Inacraft is to showcase its craft works and community effort to develop the potential that exists in the district.
Particularly there are 52 countries taking part in Inacraft. This has a positive impact, at least its craft come along.
In the future, local government can encourage local artisans with various strategic steps, such as providing facilities and training so that the craft develops and progresses and in demand both nationally and internationally.(PR)
