Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Members of the Tabalong Drug Police secured a woman for being caught red-handed hiding sabu-sabu (crystal meth).
"The perpetrator was arrested on Tuesday (29/3) at about 3 pm on Jalan Raya PHM Noor, Murung Pudak Sub-district," Head of the Drug Unit First Insp (Iptu) Police Minggu Tampubolon in Tanjung on Friday.
He told that the 34-year-old woman with initial MR carrying a package of crystal white powder weighing 0.16 grams placed in a cigarette case.
"The suspect slipped the sabu-sabu at the fold of the Rp2,000 notes, inside the cigarette box placed behind her cloth," he explained.
Based on the suspect's acknowledgment, the sabu-sabu was purchased from a person named Kr in Ampah, East Barito District, Central Kalimantan, at a price of Rp300,000.
"The sabu-sabu is planned to be used by a female friend of the suspect when arrived in the Tanjung," he said.
On the findings of narcotics evidence, the suspect charged with Article 112 paragraph (1) Law No. 35/2009 on Narcotics.
"This housewife has indeed been monitored because of allegedly often conduct drug transactions," he concluded.
