Tanjung, S Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - The agriculture counseling team in Tabalong District, South Kalimantan, learns online applications that function to report harvesting in certain areas.
According to the South Kalimantan Agriculture Agency's resource person Syahrianoor, this application is to facilitate counselors in the field to report via Internet network.
"With the application of E-harvest, they report and knowing (harvest) online," said Syahrianoor at Tanjung, Tuesday.
25 agricultural counseling workers took part in the training. They also discussed the application of agricultural counsel reporting system (Siluhtan). The applications for reporting activities and needs in the field are directly connected to the Ministry of Agriculture.
Beside Syahrianoor, the training materials were also delivered by Functional General Officer of the agency Fahrul Zaini.
Secretary of Tabalong Agriculture Agency Budi Hariyatno said the mastery of technology and information indeed become became additional work.
"Agricultural counseling workers are required to make regular, monthly or daily reports," he said.
One of the counselors Yahya from Kelua said he is hoping the training can add insights related to information technology.
