Kotabaru, South Kalimantan 19/11 (AntaranewsKalsel) - Fishermen in the waters of Masalima Island on the border of Kotabaru, South Kalimantan, with West Sulawesi, found an alleged missing crew in KM Makmur Rejeki accident.


"The information we received on the field he has been found, but we have not seen the condition of the victim," said Kotabaru SAR Post Coordinator Teguh Prasetyo, Sunday.

The information mentioned the discovery of the victim was about 30 miles from the sinking point of the ship. But the information is not yet valid. The combined SAR team will confirm the truth by checking the scene.

Navy ship Kelambau owned by Kotabaru Naval Base also deployed in SAR operation to find the six crew of KM Makmur Rejeki.

A total of 15 members of Naval Base, eight members of National SAR, and two persons from the Kotabaru Port Authority (KSOP) Office were aboard.

Meanwhile, 19 crew members of KM Makmur Rejeki who have been evacuated have been repatriated to their hometown.

The body of one crew and two crew members were flown safely to Semarang from Syamsudin Noor Airport. While the remaining departed to Surabaya from Trisakti Port Banjarmasin by boarding KM Niki Sejahtera.
