Chinese worker died at PT Conch

Tabalong, South Kalimantan (AntaraNewsKalsel) - A Chinese national worker died on the spot after a working accident at PT Conch Cement area in Tabalong District, South Kalimantan.

Mr. Fang Cen Lin or Fang Chenglin Anghui (45) is a Project Advisor or field supervisor at the Chinese cement company operating in Tabalong.

Tabalong Police Chief Adj Sr Comr (AKBP) Hardiono SIK through PR said the incident occurred on Thursday (16/11) at around 16.30 pm.

From the testimony of witnesses, the incident started when the victim was in the Crasser area to check the red land pile warehouse.

Because the warehouse is too full, Mr. Fang ordered the backko loader operator, AR (35), a worker from North Hulu Sungai, to move the existing land in the manufacturing warehouse to an empty warehouse 50 meters away.

Complies with Mr. Fang's order, the operator moved the ground with the bucket position on top. On the way to the crasser area, AR did not see the victim due to the bend.

The operator immediately stopped his operational tools when he felt he hit something, a drum. When he came down from the operational equipment, he was surprised because the victim was in the condition hit by the right front tire of the loader.

The victim died at the scene. Knowing the information, police chief together with Head of Ops Head of Intelligence and Identification Unit of Crime Detective and Upau Sector Police directly to the scene.

"We are still in the process of examination of all witnesses, including loader operator, under the leadership of Criminal Investigation Unit Head Adj Comr (AKP) Mars Suryo Kartiko SH SIK," said Tabalong police chief.

It is known from one of the sources at the scene that the victim was taken to Pertamina Hospital in the district to conduct a post mortem examination.
