Drug detective seizes 40 grams sabu-sabu

Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan 1/9 (AntaranewsKalsel) - Members of the South Kalimantan's Drug Detectives Directorate (Ditresnarkoba) seized 40 grams of sabu-sabu from a dealer.

"Surya the perpetrator (32) was red-handed while carrying, storing, and possessing narcotics type sabu-sabu 40.17 gram," said Director of Drug Detectives Police Sr Comr Muhammad Firman through Head of Subdit 3 Adj Sr Comr Matsari HS SH in Banjarmasin on Friday.

He said the illegal business of the perpetrator who circulates drugs have long been monitored by officers.

Members of Subdit 3 kept following his movements until finally managed to catch him on Thursday (31/8) at around 22:00 pm.

"We lured the perpetrator to conduct transactions on the roadside of Jalan Tembus Mantuil, South Banjarmasin," Matsari revealed.

When the officer searched him, a large package of sabu-sabu found in the left pocket of the black white jacket he wore.

The resident of Jalan Simpang Belitung, West Banjarmasin, is now charged with Article 114 Paragraph (2) Sub Article 112 Paragraph (2) of Law No.35/2009 on Narcotics.

"Although he is silent, we are still trying to reveal another network, because the suspect would not play alone, there must be a controller on it and other couriers," said Matsari.
