S Kalimantan haj pilgrims died of heart and tumor

Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan 22/8 (AntaranewsKalsel) - Head of South Kalimantan Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs H Noor Fahmi said the death of two Haj pilgrims from Banjarmasin Embarkation in the Holy Land of Mecca caused by heart disease and Malignant Neoplasm or tumor.

This matter, he said here on Tuesday, was explained on the website of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the Computerized Integrated Hajj System (Siskohat), and Working Area of Mecca about the cause of two pilgrims from Kloter 03 passed away.

Fahmi explained, prospective haj pilgrim Thantawi bin Drajat Hasbullah passed away on August 21, 2017, in Mecca lodge due to heart and blood vessel disorders at the age of 73 years.

Meanwhile, prospective haj pilgrim Surita Hartini binti Maserun passed away on August 19, 2017, in Saudi Arabia Hospital Mecca for Malignant Neoplasm at the age of 49 years.

Surita had received serious treatment at Indonesia Haj Health Clinic of Mecca (KKHIM) and then referred to Saudi Arabia Hospital (RSAS) Al Noor until finally died.

"Surita since arriving in Madinah has complained of shortness of breath but through care in her flight group she still could move and after the obligatory umrah her condition decreased until finally referred to RSAS Al Noor," he said.

While Thantawi, he said, died in the lodge. The pain has come from the origin area and was one of the Haj pilgrims who always get attention to be given care by health team in flight group.

According to Noor Fahmi, the two hajj pilgrims from Banjarmasin Embarkation have the honor to be prayed at Al Haram Mosque and subsequently have been buried at the Soraya cemetery 20 km from Mecca.
