Police arrests a teacher possesses sabu-sabu

Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan 1/7 (AntaranewsKalsel) - East Banjarmasin Sector Police arrested an unscrupulous teacher who is suspected of storing narcotics type sabu-sabu.

"AR (29) works as an honorary teacher and lives in Bati-Bati Sub-district, Tanah Laut," said Banjarmasin Police Chief Sr Comr (Kombes) Anjar Wicaksana here Saturday.

When the operations unit police led by head of criminal investigation hunting on Saturday at around 1:00 in the vicinity of Jalan Ahmad Yani Km 4.5, the perpetrator looked with suspicious movements.

"When officers saw a suspicious man, then they conducted a search. The offender resisted, he refused to be examined," said Anjar.

But, officers continued to conduct a search according to procedure. From the search found a package of white crystals wrapped in plastic clips allegedly narcotics type sabu-sabu in the cigarette box in the right hand of the suspect.

"According to the confession of the suspect the sabu-sabu is his property bought for Rp100.000 from his friend in Bati-Bati," said police chief again.

On the findings of the evidence, the suspect was taken to East Banjarmasin Sector Police for further process and subjected to Law no. 35 of 2009 on narcotics.
