Tanjung, South Kalimantan 2/6 (AntaranewsKalsel) - Regent Tabalong Anang Syakhfiani acknowledged of receiving reports from Binjai villagers, Muara Uya Sub-district, there were unscrupulous village apparatus who sell rice for poor by Rp6 thousand per sack.


"The rice for poor that should be free is even sold Rp6 thousand per sack and this report I received last night from the residents of Binjai Village," said Anang in Tanjung, Friday, while attending the submission of the results of National Examination for junior high school (SMP) and MTs.

Therefore, Anang reminded all village apparatus to be able to distribute prosperous family rice (Rastra) free of charge to the target family and can avoid unlawful acts.

Earlier the rice for poor case dragged the head of Banua Rantau village, Banua Lawas sub-district, to the legal track and currently becomes a prisoner at the Tabalong Police Station.

Separately the Head of Social Agency Yuhani claimed to have received no reports related to rice for poor sales practices in Binjai Village and will follow up the information.

"Later we will confirm with the sub-district, which certainly has not received reports related to the rice for poor sales," said Yuhani.
