Tanjung, South Kalimantan 30/5 (AntaranewsKalsel) - Head of Tabalong Community Empowerment and Village Government Agency (DPMPD) Syaiful Ikhwan said 53 villages so far have owned village-owned enterprises (BUMDes).


"We expect other villages to immediately form a village-owned enterprises in order to improve the village economy," explained Syaiful in Tanjung on Tuesday.

Tabalong government also plans to build minimarkets in 121 villages in order to realize the formation of BUMDes. Therefore the Regent Anang Syakhfiani refused the entry of national network minimarket such as Alfamart in `Bumi Saraba Kawa` (a nickname for Tabalong).

"I want every village in Tabalong to have BUMDes through the construction of village minimarket," explained Anang.

To support the program, Tabalong government will allocate funds in it 2017 budget changes.

According to Anang, the existence of BUMDes with minimarket business is very useful and give a positive effect to the community's economy.

Separately, a sub-district assistant, Ika Rahmawati, acknowledged the formation of Bumdes is still constrained by human resources (HR) at the village level.

"One of them is Kapar Village in Murung Pudak Subdistrict, which already has BUMDes, but has not been able to walk because of limited human resources," said Ika.

Later this year the district to allocate approximately Rp20 million through village funds to revive BUMDes in Kapar Village with the type of tent equipment rental business.
