Community in Talusi Village together with the Task Force of the 123rd TNI Integrated Village Development (TMMD) carried out a gotong-royong or mutual cooperation to clean up a mosque in the village.
The 123rd TMMD is a program organized by the 1004/Kotabaru District Military Command (Kodim).
Commander of the Task Force (Dansatgas) Lt. Col. Inf. Bayu Oktavianto Sudibyo said the gotong royong activity was part of the program of the 123rd TMMD which aim to improve the welfare of the local community and create a clean environment.
"We hope this gotong royong activity can increase people awareness about the importance of cleanliness and beauty of the environment," said the commander.
People in Talusi Village, Pamukan Selatan Sub-district, Kotabaru District, expressed their gratitude for this gotong royong and hoped it will continue.
The villagers welcomed this activity and hoped this gotong royong to improve cleanliness and beauty of the mosque and its environment in Talusi village.
