The District Government of Tabalong, South Kalimantan, won the 2024 Wahana Tata Nugraha award in the small city category for managing transportation and public facilities well.

Tabalong Acting Regent Hamida Munawarah expressed her gratitude and appreciation for various parties who have supported the implementation of orderly traffic in Tabalong Regency.

"We will continue to make breakthroughs and increase the development of innovation in public transportation," she said here on Sunday.

This include effort to increase and develop "Langsat Manis" (which stands for comfortable and free public transportation) innovation.

This innovation, which has been implemented since 2014, is an effort by the district government to reduce traffic accidents and violations.

This is also the reason that Tabalong once again received the Wahana Tata Nugraha award which was presented by the Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi in the commemoration of National Transportation Day 2024, Saturday.

WTN award is an award given to provincial, city and district governments who have managed their transportation and public facilities well.
