Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Banjarmasin City Government will soon dismiss illegal parking on the road side, such as in front of small restaurants and food stalls.
"As we saw along the road side there are small restaurants or food stalls with parking money collectors. Those will be removed, because of illegal," said Head of Transportation, Communication and Information Agency (Dishubkominfo) Ichwan Norkhaliq in Banjarmasin, Friday.
He stated, parking on the road side is not given permission, so there should be no parking activity, because it disrupt traffic flow.
"So we'll curb them all, because the restaurant or food stall should build their own parking space for visitors, of course free of charge. If they let disorder parking will be hauled," said Ichwan.
A former head of municipal police (Satpol PP) who just served as Dishubkominfo head targeting three months of work to disciplinize all parking lot to not look chaotic again.
Similarly, said Ichwan, to disciplinize parking rates as regulated with Regional Regulation (Perda) No. 2/2016, ie for two-wheel vehicles shall not pass from Rp2,000 and four-wheeled vehicles shall not pass from Rp3,000.
