The Muhammadiyah II Kotabaru Private Elementary School (SDS Muhammadiyah II) held a Ramadan iftar by involving 30 orphans and provided donation for them.
"Iftar together with big family of SDS Muhammadiyah II Kotabaru is held regularly every year," said the princial of the school Lastiadi Muhtadin here on Friday.
The school held the activity in collaboration with the service office of the school, Semayap Excel Class Family Forum (Fokus), school committee, and student parents.
"We hold this iftar together also to strenghten good relationship between the school, parents, and the surrounding environment," he said.
On this occasion, he expressed his highest thanks to teachers, SDS Muhammadiyah II service office, Semayap Superior Class Family Forum as well as committee and parents who had worked together and coordinated well so they could carry out this joint Ramadan fast breaking activity.
"Hopefully in the years to come, we can continue to hold this to maintain our brotherhood as residents of SDS Muhamadiyah II Kotabaru,” said Lastiadi Muhtadin.
