Tanjung, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Tabalong income in fiscal year 2017 is projected to Rp1.18 trillion, with the locally derived revenue of Rp137,29 billion.


Regent Tabalong Anang Syakhfiani in Tanjung on Wednesday said the details of its revenues in the draft regulation (raperda) of 2017 Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD).

"Although there is a significant reduction in the 2017 budget, but the infrastructure has been declared and fixed in RPJMD (mid-term regional development plan) mandate will be implemented in appropriate with development priorities," said Anang.

The previous revenue in 2016 reached Rp1,64 trillion, and after the rationalization and efficiency of the budget eventually fell to Rp 1.18 trillion in the 2017 proposed budget.

Anang recognized the future challenges to be quite heavy in economic conditions regionally, nationally, and even internationally may affect investment and locally based business development, food security, and welfare improvement.

Therefore, the 2017 budget will be prioritized in activities to improve the infrastructure and utility area, economic sector development and improving the quality of health care and education.

"The local government is also prioritizing the improvement of public services and the management of natural resources and the environment on the utilization of the budget in 2017," said Anang again.

Relating the preparation of 2017 budgets, the district government has made various adjustments related to central government policy, among are personnel expenditure economization, and adjustment of the budget allocation to cope with the state's financial condition and policy direction.
