Speaker of Kotabaru DPRD Syairi Mukhlis asked the district government to immediately follow up on the South Kalimantan BPK Representative recommendations on the local government financial reports.
Syairi and Deputy Speaker of DPRD Muhammad Arif expressed it when attending the submission of Examination Report (LHP) of the South Kalimantan Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) Representative.
“There are recommendations from the BPK that the Kotabaru government must follow up,” said Syairi here Friday.
He said the BPK's recommendations are the result of examination (LHP) on the Kotabaru government expenditure in the 2022-2023 Revised Budget (APBD Perubahan).

"The budget intented is funds for handling stunting in Kotabaru and efficiency of the government spending in 2022 and 2023," he expounded.
As a legislative, he said, the DPRD's function as supervisor will be to oversee matters that are recommended by the BPK for immediate action.
He hopes that Kotabaru will maintain the unqualified opinion or WTP on its financial reports in 2023. Kotabaru won WTP eight times in a row.
