Regent of Kotabaru, South Kalimantan, Sayed Jafar educated children when he attended mass circumcision which was organized by Health Office to mark the 59th National Health Day (HKN) in Tanjung Seloka Village, Pulau Laut Selatan Sub-district.
"Don't afraid to be circumcised, circumcision is part of cleanliness," said Sayed Jafar to children who participated, Wednesday.
He said Muslim boys must be circumcised, and this activity is a good start to educate children regarding personal hygiene and health.
"This moment fits with school holidays," he said.

On that occasion, the Regent also distributed gifts to circumcision participants and was welcomed by children cheerfully.
Head of Kotabaru Health Office Erwin Simanjuntak said that the mass circumcision aim to ease the burden on society.
"So we organize mass circumcision to help community with a target of 100 children," he said.
Mass circumcision is a routine agenda for Health Office in collaboratin with puskesmas (community health centers) in Kotabaru District.
"After circumcision, children are given medicines until their recover," he said.
In addition to medicine, children who participated in mass circumcision also received schools supplies.
