Tanjung, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - The kindergarten TK Tunas Bangsa in the village of Hayub, Haruai Sub-district, Tabalong, nominated for South Kalimantan provincial Healthy Schools Competition (LSS).
Chairman of the LSS Assessment Team Nurul Adhani in Tanjung on Tuesday said this year four schools in Tabalong enrolled for the judgment of South Kalimantan provincial LSS.
"TK Tunas Bangsa become one of the participant and previously TK Pembina Jaro was successfully win at the national level," said Nurul.
Through this competition is expected to form the habit of applying clean and healthy lifestyle behaviors for students.
TK Tunas Bangsa has been a foster school of PT Astra Agro Lestari II and has just three years operating in the former office building of the oil palm company.
Public Relations of PT Astra Agro Lestari II Hery Satria said the company has added a number of facilities and infrastructures in TK Tunas Bangsa to meet the criteria for a healthy school.
"For teachership we involve a number of employees of the company and we build infirmary to support healthy schools program," said Hery.
In addition to TK Tunas Bangsa, the assessment team also conducted an assessment in three other schools, namely elementary school SD Negeri 1.2 Belimbing, vocational high school SMKN Murung Pudak and Islamic junior high school MTsN Pugaan.
Head of Tabalong Education Agency Marzuki Hakim said healthy schools program and Adiwiyata include in priority activities.
