University of Lambung Mangkurat (ULM) in South Kalimantan now has 114 professor at the same time of the 114th graduation in 2023 which graduated 1,300 graduates.

"Alhamdulilah (praise be to Allah) 114 becomes special number for ULM that marks two special moments at once, the number of professors and the batch of graduation," said ULM Rector Prof Ahmad Alim Bachri at ULM Auditorium in Banjarbaru, Thursday.

The presence of professors, he said, would provide encouragement to undergraduates and postgraduates who have just been inaugurated to emulate similiar achievements.

"We really hope and encourage the undergraduates to continue their studies to a higher level, so they don't stop at just a bachelor's or master's degree," he pointed out.

Especially since the chancellor provides special discount on tuition fees for undergraduates who directly continue to postgraduate program in the hope of increasing alumni interest in achieving the highest academic degrees.
