Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Sub Directorate III of Drug Investigation Division (Ditresnarkoba) South Kalimantan Police arrested a man known as narcotics dealer types of crystal methamphetamine (sabu-sabu) in the local town.
"The perpetrator we captured based on public information then we followed-up with investigation in the field," said Director of the Drug Investigation Division III Kombes Joko through Subdit III Head AKBP Andri Koko Prabowo Sik MH in Banjarmasin on Monday.
He said the perpetrator was arrested on Thursday (18/8) in his home at Jalan Mangga Raya, Kebun Bunga, Eastern Banjarmasin, where illicit goods transactions were frequent.
In addition to catching the perpetrator AN alias Akhmad, police also secured the evidence of sabu-sabu weighing eight grams and a digital scale.
"Evidence of a package of sabu-sabu and a digital scale found in his house, so the offender can not move slightly longer for his mistakes," said the man who once served as Batola deputy chief police.
The offender is currently in detention of South Kalimantan Regional Police to account for his actions. He was charged under article 114 paragraph (2) sub-section 112 (2) of Law No. 35 Year 2009 on Narcotics.
