Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Criminal Detective of South Daha Sector Police, South Hulu Sungai (HSS), arrested a man who was caught distributing thousands of Charnoven drugs, Zenith Production, in the local town.
"The man we captured for information from society was indeed true that he distributes and sells thousands of drugs known as genie pill (pil jin)," said HSS Police Chief AKBP Sukendar Eka Restiyan Putra through the Head of Public Relations AKP Agus Winartono in Kandangan, Sunday.
He said the perpetrator was caught in Pandan Sari Village,South Daha, on Friday (15/7). He was identified as Ahmad Ansari (26), self-employed, resident Sei Mandala, North Daha, HSS.
It was originated from information developed in the community that the perpetrator often sell Zenith in South Daha.
South Daha Sector Police Chief Ipda H Subani after received the information immediately conduct an investigation. Once the police found it was true and saw the perpetrator, he was directly intercepted and searched.
From the search found 20 boxes of Charnoven (2,100 pills) in plastic wrap and a white box in the front waist tuck pants and Rp1.980.000 cash believed to be proceeds from the sale of "genie pills".
He could not dodged and resigned to be brought to the South Daha Sector Police for further legal proceedings.
The perpetrator has been named as a suspect and charged under the Health Act, under penalty of a minimum of three years in prison.
