Martapura, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - The Banjar Public Order Agency (Satpol PP) nabbed ten violators of Ramadan regulations (Perda Ramadhan) that prohibit shops to open and eat or drink in public area during fasting month.


"There are ten offenders we nabbed. They got punishments," said the head of Banjar Satpol PP Ahmadi, Saturday.

He said eight people caught eating and drinking and each were fined by Rp50 thousand, while the two other nabbed for opening eastery.

Two shop owners, who affected raid by Satpol PP personnel during the day, were willing to pay a fine of Rp200 thousand and choose pay fines on the spot.

"They should be brought to court for trial, but by considerations of humanity and were willing to pay so just be fined," he said.

According to him, the municipal police during Ramadan schedule 20 times Ramadan regulation enforcement raids. The raids involving personnel of TNI (army) and police that fully support.
