PT Adaro Indonesia and its partners held a press tour with press members of Tabalong District and Barito Selatan District to Semarang City, Central Java, Wednesday, May 31, 2023.
The activity is an annual agenda to strengthen friendly and working relation between companies and journalists.
Gathering and relaxed discussion were held at Pringsewu Resto Semarang attended by Media Relations Section Head of PT Adaro Indonesia Kadarisman, Superintendent Industrial External Relation (IER) of PT Bukit Makmur Mandiri Utama (Buma) SG Sinaga, and External Relation and Security Coordinator of PT SIS Fecky Ronald Umboh.
PT Buma IER Superintendent SG Sinaga said that this activity could be input for his party.
"Our hope after this we can improve our communication, that's our real goal," he said.
Sinaga mentioned that communication and good relation of his party and media crews both in Tabalong and Barito Selatan went well.
"Let's make this moment our better relation and if there are shortcomings we can discuss them. Good things that have gone well don't let time fade," he pointed out.
PT SIS External Relation and Security Coordinator Fecky Ronald Umboh also wants the ongoing partnership relation to be continuously improved.
"Hopefully the relation that have been going well will be even stronger in the future," he said.
Meanwhile, Chairman of PWI Tabalong Sabirin HA Syukran Nafis said a number of things were conveyed could be discussed and brought to the attention of the company.
"Especially with regard to reporting, we hope it can be improved in addition to fostering good communication continuity," he said.
He also wants the company to play a role in improving the welfare of the media crew through company's program.
PWI Barito Selatan also discussed a number of things related to partnership and good relation with the company.
