Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Muhadjir Effendy prayed for the Indonesian Hajj pilgrims that they were all healthy and the Hajj be mabrur (performed in a manner pleasing to Allah), as he, and Transportation Minister Budi Karya Sumadi, welcomed the returning Hajj pilgrims at Soekarno Hatta Airport, Tangerang, Banten, on Saturday early morning.

He noted that the quarantine policy was not implemented for the pilgrims, though body temperature checks would be conducted. If the temperature is detected to be above 37 degrees Celsius, then the pilgrim will be immediately handled by officers.
On the same occasion, Transportation Minister Budi Karya Sumadi said that airports serving the Hajj debarkation are ready for the arriving Hajj pilgrims.
"Although there is no quarantine, we, along with the Port Health Office (KKP), will guard and provide the best service if there are pilgrims, who experience problems or are sick," Sumadi affirmed.
In the first phase, Hajj pilgrims will depart from Saudi Arabia to Indonesia from July 15 to July 30, 2022. Meanwhile, for the second phase, the pilgrims will depart starting from July 30 to August 13, 2022.
Earlier, Hajj Health Center Head Budi Sylvana noted that Indonesian Hajj pilgrims will receive a Hajj Pilgrims Health Alert Card (K3JH) to help them monitor their personal health up to 21 days after returning to Indonesia.
"If within the 21-day period (returning Hajj pilgrims) experience symptoms, they must report to and seek medical care at the nearest health facility by bringing the K3JH," Sylvana stated here on Wednesday.
The monitoring process is an early-detection procedure for infectious diseases that Hajj pilgrims may experience, such as COVID-19, MERS-CoV, meningitis, polio, and other diseases that potentially cause Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIOC), he explained.
