The Adaro Bangun Negeri Foundation (YABN) in collaboration with the Indonesia Heritage Foundation (IHF) provided the 2022 training of trainer (TOT) for core early childhood education (PAUD inti) teachers fostered by Semai Benih Bangsa Association (GSBB) teacher for two days 21-22 March 2022 in Banjarmasin.
18 representatives of PAUD teachers from Banjarmasin City, Barito Kuala District, and Banjar District attended the training.
Adaro Energy's CSR Program Manager Zuraida Murdia Hamdie said that the training was to prepare core PAUD (PAUD inti).
"From 2018 PT Adaro has fostered 63 PAUDs in several districts in South Kalimantan and Central Kalimantan," said Zuraida Murdia Hamdie, after the opening of the training, Monday (March 21, 2022).
According to her, of the 63 PAUDs, after several years of coaching, 17 PAUDs were the best and became core PAUD.
"Core PAUD is PAUD that we prepare to build other PAUD in its surroundng, then we no longer (have to) build (PAUD) from basic. We hope that a core PAUD can foster five other PAUDs," she expounded.
She continued that after attending the training, the core PAUD is ready to share and and socalize character-based holistic education in other PAUD.
Likewise the Nation Seedling Teachers Association (IGSBB), which is formed by IHF, can create PAUD networkd known as Semai Benih Indonesia to support each other and be controlled in its management.
Head of PAUD Division of the Banjarmasin Education Office Edy Junaidi appreciated the TOT provided by YABN and IHF for core PAUD teachers.
"We hope that this activity can impact all the character-based holictic PAUD materials or experiences in the PAUD units themselves," he said.
He said PAUD in the City of Banjarmasin amounted to about 70 units or below the national average of 75 units.
"Currently Banjarmasoh has five state PAUD in each sub-district. Ideally Banjarmasin has 50 sate PAUDs," he said.
