The team for the acceleration for the new district of Tanah Kambatang Lima signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the research team of the Lambung Mangkurat University's Center for Public Policy Studies.
"The important point of the MoU is to conduct academic study for the establishment of the prospective New Autonomous Region (DOB) of Tanah Kambatang Lima with a total cost of Rp442,927,632," Chairman of Tanah Kambatang Lima DOB Acceleration Team Rabbiansyah noted in a press statement, Thursday.
At the initial stage, a down payment of Rp50 million was submitted to ULM research team.
"With the commence of academic studies, the process of stages of the separation proposal will begin. Hopefully all the process to go well as expected by the residents," he said.

The signing was carried out by Rabbiansyah, as chairman of the acceleration team of Tanah Kambatang Lima separation from Kotabaru District, with Head of Research Team for ULM Publc Policy Study Center Dr Taufik Arbain.
Also present at the signing ceremony were Deputy Chairman I Saijul Kurnain, Head of Legal Affairs Dariatman, Deputy Chairman Zainal Arifin, Head of Research and Data H Ilyas, and General Secretary Khairul Sani.
