Indonesia's Higher Education Institutions (LLDIKTI) for Area XI Kalimantan won three awards at the 2021 Higher Education, Research and Technology (Diktiristek) awarding.

The three awards won by LLDIKTI XI with the tight selection were the first winner for Public Relation Award for the category of LLDIKTI's press conference and press release.

Then the Best Public Service Complaint Management (LAPOR) in LLDIKTI level, and runner-up in LLDIKTI's Integrated Service Unit.

The awards were handed over at the event which was held lively with strict health protocols, which can be  seen at the Ristekdikti You Tube channel on Thursday (January 13, 2022).

Chairman of LLDIKTI XI Dr Muhammad Akbar said the awards as the joint achievement, which involved all parties directly or indirectly. 

"We also thank all media partners in 5 provinces in Kalimantan who are loyal to help us," he said.

Acting Secretary of Directorate General of Diktiristek Prof Tjitjik Srie Tjahjandarie Ph. D. said that the Diktiristek PR award is an annual award has been held since 2017 until now.

It aims to monitor and evaluate the PR performance of private universities and LLDIKTI in conveying information to the public, especially in the policy of Belajar Merdeka Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) meaning "freedom to learn, independent campus".

"Based on a fairly long assessment during 2021, we finally managed to get the best participants," she said.

Director-General of Higher Education, Research and Technology Professor Nizam said the various awards were given as an effort to encourage all parties to carry out their programs well.

According to him, LLDIKTI and universities are expected to support the Belajar Merdeka Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program in the hope that students can be more creative and gain a wider experience in the world of work.

"I hope that campus will give full opportunities to the students by giving a full 20 credits (SKS). Internship students should no longer be burden with campus tasks that break their concentration," he said.

According to him, the campus is a spring to support the development of the nation, so it must be supported by all related parties.
