Regent HM Sukamta said he was proud that one of the Tanah Laut Soccer Club (Persetala) players was asked to join the U-18 (under-18) national squad (timnas).

“We are proud that one of our footballers in Persetala, Salmani, received a call from the U-18 Indonesia National Team to play against Real Madrid U-18 and Barcelona U-18. This is a proof that we have good young football talent," he said.

HM Sukamta said that coaching players from a young age is one of the keys to success in the football world.

"I invite all elements of government, private and community to continue to be enthusiastic to develop and advance football in Tanah Laut," said HM Sukamta after handing over trophies and coaching money to the winners of the 2021 Tanah Laut Regent Cup Football Tournament at the Pertasi Kencana Stadium, Pelaihari, Tuesday (Nov 23, 2021).
