Kotabaru, South Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Regent of Kotabaru, South Kalimantan Province, H Sayed Jafar has received four director generals and Chairman of Government-Owned Bank Association (Perbamida) who conducted working visit related to synchronizing central and regional financial data.
"We welcome what the ministry is doing to synchronize the central and regional financial data," said Regent Sayed Jafar in Kotabaru, Thursday.
The four director generals are Director General of Custom and Excise for South Kalimantan, Director General of Treasury for South Kalimantan, Director General of Taxes for South Kalimantan, and Director General of Assets for Kalimantan.
The Regent said the alignment of central and regional finance as the implementation of program related to the Ministry of Finance's strategy in encouraging central and regional financial relation through the role of regional chief economist.

Such encouragement is needed as an effort to improve the alignment of national dan regional fiscal policies as well as harmonizing regional development with national priority programs.
"We continue to suppor the effort to harmonize the regional financial system," he said.
Head of South Kalimantan Office of the Directorate General of State Assets (DJKN) Kusumawardhani said, the alignment of DJKN program with the regional government of Kotabaru is an effort to maximize local Original Revenue (PAD).
"In Kotabaru there are many sources of PAD that can be maximized," said Kusumawardhani while mentioning tourism as one of them.
She also described plantation and mining sectors at the PAD potential that can be developed.
"We provide an overview so that it can be maximized while still refering to the existing system," said Kusumawardhani.
