Muhammad Saifullah, a santri or student of the school of memorizing Al-Quran Ponpes Tahfizhul Quran Ad-Dahlaniah Tambak Bitin, Daha Utara Sub-district, South Hulu Sungai (HSS) District, was selected to represent South Kalimantan to the 26th National Tilawatil Quran (STQ) Selection in Sofifi, North Maluku, 16-25 October 2021.
"Muhammad Saifullah to compete at the 30 juz Quran memorizing (MHQ). We are grateful that HSS resident participates in the national STQ representing South Kalimantan," said Regent H Achmad Fikry, who was accompanied by Head of People's Welfare Board Fajar Abdi, to receive Muhammad Saifullah's visit, Friday (Oct 8, 2021).
He advised Muhammad Saifullah to always take care of his health, so he could perform optimally, and thanked him for raising the name of Ponpes Tahfidz Ad–Dahlaniah, Daha Utara.
“Hopefully many of our children will join tahfidz (Quran memorizing),” he said.
In the silaturrahmi, the regent also reminded Muhammad Saifullah to always maintain and comply with the health protocols and handed over pocket money to Muhammad Saifullah.
