Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - National Provincial Narcotics Agency (BNNP) South Kalimantan wiping out four ounces of sabu-sabu or crystal methamphetamine and 500 ecstasy pills ineks catches types mid June 2015.
"The evidence that we have destroyed in accordance with Law No. 35 Year 2009 on Narcotics where investigators are able to destroy the evidence," said Chief of Eradication BNNP Superintendent Sujono here on Tuesday.
The number of destroyed evidence comes from three successful cases uncovered by BNNP in June 2015. The destruction is done in front of seven suspects, caught by the agency.
BPOM Banjarmasin officials, prosecutors, police and community leaders came to witness the destruction of illicit goods carried out on the second floor of BNNP Office, Monday (6/7) morning.
The way the extermination was conducted by blended in water then discarded or dissolved into the toilet.
"We destroy the evidence of this in addition to the command of the Law also based on the prosecutor's determination that the evidence could be destroyed in the investigation stage, but given the rest as simple for further legal process," he said.
He said the drugs are enemies of the state and anyone can be affected from crime and illicit goods knows no age.
