The number of residents of Tabalong District who were exposed to the coronavirus jumped sharply with the addition of 116 confirmed positive COVID-19 patients on Saturday (August 14, 2021).
The district spokesman for the Acceleration Handling of COVID-19 Taufiqurrahman Hamdie said the addition of the most positive case was in Tanta Sub-district reached 59 people.
"At this time the total patients being treated are 284 following the increase of 116 new cases," said Taufik.
In addition to Tanta, the positive cases of COVID-19 were also found in the sub-districts of Murung Pudak, Banua Lawas, Haruai, Muara Uya, Muara Harus, Muara Uya, and Upau.
Taufik added that 28 patients have recovered, namely in the sub-district of Murung Pudak 16, Muara Uya 4, Tanjung 3, Kelua 2, Tanta 1, Haruai 1, and Pugaan 1. The total recovered patients were 960.
Meanwhile, the total confirmed positive cases in Tabalong to this date is 1,272 people with 30 people died.
