Pelaihari, South Kalimantan (AntaranewKalsel)) - Criminal Detective Unit (Satreskrim) of Tanah Laut Resort Police began investigating allegations of book procurement graft valued at Rp1.4 billion in the Education Agency.


"We have twice raided the office of Education and confiscated several files related the auction of book procurement project worth Rp1.4 billion in 2013 Revised Regional Budgets (APBD-P),” said Chief of Tanah Laut Police AKBP Edy Suwandono in Pelaihari, Thursday (30/4).

The Police also had to call 10 witnesses, both of Making Commitments Officials (PPK) and of the counterparty CV Polaris Banjarmasin.

"All the witnesses we have asked for information, but we are still steeped again the loss to the state from the tender procurement of goods suspected of violating the rules," said police chief who was accompanied by Head of Satreskrim AKP Edy Papa Rihi.

To declare their losses or not to the state, Tanah Laut Police will coordinate with the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK-RI) Representatives of South Kalimantan.

"The results of BPK-RI audit as a basis we conduct an investigation when it declared a state loss," he said.
