Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Banjarbaru Government has saved the 2014 local budget (APBD) by Rp31,1 billion from auction of goods and services.


"Budget savings realized through procurement services unit auctioning of goods and services," said Mayor Ruzaidin Noor in Banjarbaru on Saturday.

According to the mayor, who was accompanied by the Head of Development Affairs Iwan Hermawan, the saving tens of billions comes from the auction of 14 package of goods and services.

Iwan explained budget savings occured because of the difference between the ceiling value and the contract in the process of Electronic Procurement Service (LPSE).

"The contract value in LPSEs process was reduced from the ceiling set, resulting in a difference in price and lead to budget savings," said Iwan.

He said the auction process of LPSEs system allows the difference as candidates contractor bid below the ceiling.

The procurement of goods and services at the regional work units in Banjarbaru already running auctions electronically so that offers can be anywhere.

Earlier, in 2010 Banjarbaru managed to save the budget by Rp9,7 billion or 13.85 percent of the 120 packages auctioned with ceiling Rp70,1 billion and the value of the contract Rp60,4 billion. In 2011, it saved Rp5.2 billion or 5.90 percent of the ceiling Rp88,8 billion, while in 2012 it saved Rp7.6 billion or 9.05 percent of Rp84.4 billion ceiling.
