After the announcement of the cancellation of the departure of the Indonesia Hajj prospective pilgrims (JCH) for 1442 Hijriyah/2021, Head of South Kalimantan Office of Religious Affairs Ministry (Kemenag) H Noor Fahmi stated that the money (Bipih=haj pilgrimage travel fees) of 3,699 South Kalimantan Hajj candidates was safe.

In fact, he pointed out, if the pilgrims need the refund of their payment, they are welcome to apply for it.

"Including 233 reserve Hajj candidates who have also paid off their Hajj fee (Bipih)," he said in Banjarmasin, Friday.

According to him, to obtain the refund is by submitting a written request for refund of Bipih by attaching the original receipt of Bipih deposit, a photocopy of passbook, a photocopy of ID card (KTP), and phone number.

The documents then will be verified and confirmed will then be verified by the city of district officers of the local office of the Religious Affairs Ministry through the Integrated Hajj Computerized Service System (Siskohat).

"Head of the office will then deliver the letter of application to the Directorate-General of Hajj and Umrah (PHU) of the ministry," Noor Fahmi explained.

Here then, officers will re-verify and confirm the documents on the Siskohat. The director of the domestic service of PHU directorate-general delivers the letter of application to the head of Hajj Fund Management Agency (BPKH).

BPKH officers again do the verification of the letter of Bipih refund application.

"Then a payment order (SPM) will be issued according to the value of Bipih's payment to the bank receiving the deposit," he said.

He added that the payment will directly be transferred to the Hajj candidate.

"To assure that the fund is received, the Hajj candidate will be confirmed," he said.

Noor Fahmi hopes that Hajj perspectives need not worry, even they continue to entrust their fund to be kept by BPKH.

"We will calculate later if there is a departure for Hajj," he said.
