The government of Barito Kuala (Batola) again won the unqualified opinion (WTP) on the audit of its 2020 financial report (LKPD) from the Indonesian Supreme Audit Agency (BPK-RI) branch of South Kalimantan.

Regent Batola Hj Noormiliyani AS together with the district DPRD Speaker Saleh received the result of the audit (LHP) from the Chairman of BPK branch of South Kalimantan M Ali Asyhar at the BPK's office in Banjarbaru, Friday (May 28, 2021).

It was for the six-time that Batola won the best grade for the audit of its financial report in a row. The four consecutive WTP were obtained during the government of Regent Hj Noormiliyani AS with Deputy Regent H Rahmadian Noor, while the other two were in the period of Regent H Hasanuddin Murad. 

In addition to Batola, the 2020 LHP-LKPD or the audit of the financial reports were also submitted to Banjarbaru, Tabalong, Tapin, and Tanah Laut. All won the unqualified opinion (WTP).

Chairman of BPK M Ali Asyhar pointed out that the assessment was carried out professionally based on the operational standards in the financial audit. 

“The BPK consideration in giving the opinion was conformity with the government accounting standards (SAP), adequacy of disclosure, the effectivity of internal control system, and compliance with laws and regulation,” Ali Asyhar explained.

He added that the audit was carried out in accordance with Law No 15/2004 and Law No.15/2016. 

Regent Hj Noormiliyani AS on behalf of other districts and cities expressed the deepest gratitude for all inputs, corrections, and corrective steps during the audit process. 

Following up on these findings, Noormiliyani stated that she had compiled an action plan, which in the implementation request guidance and direction from BPK-RI so that the follow-up on the audit results could be completed on time.
