Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Minister of Manpower Hanif Dhakiri said the entry of foreign workers to Indonesia will be restricted to provide opportunity for domestic workers.


"I'm preparing regulations related to the control of foreign workers, among others by tightening the placement of foreign workers in several companies in this country," said Hanif in Banjarmasin on Saturday.

According to the former Secretary General of the PKB, the number of foreign workers in companies in the country, must be set properly and officially confirmed entry.

Thus, he added, there needs to be regulation or tighter regulation of the placement of foreign workers conducted by large companies, including in South Kalimantan, which has many coal mining companies.

The regulations, he said, one of which could be related to the language. Namely, all foreign workers who work in Indonesia should speak Indonesian.

Through various regulations, he said, the presence of foreign workers can really be controlled, so that all foreign workers in Indonesia are the official workers.
