The Regent was speaking during the expose of the second stage of construction of the South Hulu Sungai (HSS) Islamic Center at the Rakat Mufakat Hall of the district government office in di Kandangan, Monday (May 3, 2021).
He wanted when people enter HSS to see a monumental building, namely the Islamic Center mosque, which would be the pride of HSS.
He asked the parties involved in the construction to work well, use good materials so that the mosque would last a long time, the supervisor consultant, and executive can do it optimally.
Head of PUTR Office Teddy Soetedjo reported the second stage of Islamic Center construction started April 22, 2021, to December 31, 2021. The service provider PT Daman Variakarya.
"The work carried out is the construction of the mosque, namely floor work, dome roofs, ceilings, doors, windows, ventilation, sanitation, and water installation, ablution (wudhu) places, and others," he said.
Chairman of MUI HSS TGH Muhammad Riduan Baseri advised that this Islamic Center development should not be made only as a work, but become a religious deed and eternal charity for all.
Also attending, Deputy Regent Syamsuri Arsyad, assistants, heads of government agencies, CV Akmalindo, Director of PT Daman Variakarya, and CV Cipta Karya Wiguna.
