Banjarmasin City Government together with 12 districts and city governments throughout South Kalimantan have agreed to carry out corruption eradication.
Acting Governor Safrizal and acting Mayor of Banjarmasin Akhmad Fydayeen together with other city and district heads in Banjarbaru, Monday, signed an MoU containing commitment on planning, budgeting, and financial realization in the governance of the local government to prioritize public interests and benefits.
Furthermore, the process of goods and services procurement is clean, professional, accountable, free from corruption, collusion and nepotism.
Safrizal stated that all state apparatus (government employees) in South Kalimantan must fight against all acts of corruption.
The prevention can be started by jointly overseeing the planning of an activity, to keep it runs according to the vision and mission of the regional head.
"We must fight corruption in any form. Beginning from planning that we must be able to control it, because systematic corruption starts with planning. Thus the regional head is asked to supervise the planning process, so it is in line with the regional head's vision and mission," he pointed out.
