The Balida Village's owned enterprise (BUMDes) builds an attraction facility in the form of a bamboo bridge that expands 350 meters long and placed in the market of the village, Pasar (market) Racah Mampulang in Paringin Sub-district, Balangan, South Kalimantan.

Chief of the village Sahridin here on Wednesday said that the BUMDes is now developing a tour business at the market by constructing a 350 meters bamboo bridge at the rice-field area.

"By benefiting resident's 1.5-hectare rice-field area, we build 350 meters long bamboo bridge," he said.

The facility will be equipped with nine spots for selfies at every corner of the bridge, and there will also be a monitoring tower, and places to spoil the eyes of visitors.

"The work will be carried out by Balida Village residents, there are about eight workers per day. while the construction has reached 60 percent, We are targeting the completion in the next three weeks," he said.

Sahridin hopes that the tour business can be managed properly to become economic source for the people of Balida Village and the village will become the pilot in developing BUMDes in Balangan District.
