Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - The West Banjarmasin Sector Police seized six cars of various brands suspected of fraud proceeds.

The sector police chief Kompol Wendi Othniel Simanjuntak revealed on Thursday, the cars were secured in local police headquaters, because not equipped with documents, some even have forged one.

"There is a car with police number from outside the region, its Vehicle Registration Certificate (STNK) and Vehicle Ownership DocumentS (BPKP) are false. The worse, they all from motorcycle forged documents," he said.

Cars and forged documents found in the Liang Anggang, Banjarbaru (21 km northeast of Banjarmasin). However, the owner of the place was a run in time of the raid about a week ago.

Then the police develop the case to another place with evidence of transaction receipts of the two cars. "We found Avanza and Pajero in Citra Land, it turned out the car was pawned," he explained.

Parties taking two cars hock was questioned, and claimed to believe receive hock it for neighbors.

"This investigation is still running, could likely we will get a lot more cars to be confiscated," he said.
