The number of confirmed positive cases added by four to became 28 in the Barito Kuala (Batola) District on Monday(30/11).
“Today there is no recovery, while the number of confirmed positive cases has increased by four,” said the spokesperson for the Batola COVID-19 Emergency Response Hj Azizah Sri Widari in Marabahan.
She said, one of the four fresh cases --all from Alalak Sub-district-- was a four-month-old baby with a code Btl-775.
While the other three, coded Btl-773 (female 48 years), Btl-774 (male 27 years), and Btl-776 (female 29 years).
“All these positive patients, who previously were close contacts, are now undergoing isolation in their respective homes,” she said.
Azizah, who is also the head of the Batola Health Office said that with the addition of new cases the total confirmed cases would be 774 consisting of 733 people recovered (94.70 percent), 13 died (1.68 percent), and active cases 28 (3.62 percent).
“Of these 28 active cases, 21 of them are undergoing independent isolation, the other seven are being treated at the Islamic Hospital of Banjarmasin 1, H Abdul Azis Hospital in Marabahan 2, Bapelkes Banjarbaru Quarantine 1, and SKB Marabahan Quarantine 3,” she explained.
In addition, there were 13 suspect cases, one probable, and 55 close contacts.
