The Provincial Government of South Kalimantan through the Forestry Agency continues to strive to protect the forest from illegal logging, one of which by conducting intensive raids.
Acting Head of South Kalimantan Forestry Agency (Dishut) Fathimatuzzahra always emphasizes that the forest security team should carry out a patrol in certain areas.
Several locations were observed by the agency team together with the Forest Management Unit (KPH) of Kayu Tangi, including around Sungai Pinang, in Banjar District.
Here, the team found unmanned woods as evidence. They immediately coordinated with local residents and secured the logs.
The wood found was 64 pieces with a cubic of 7.76 m3. The team at the field asked for help to bring the evidence to the forest ranger's office.
