Deputy Regent of South Hulu Sungai (HSS) Syamsuri Arsyad and HSS Regional Secretary HM Noor M.AP MA here attended the virtual handover of one million land certificates chaired by Indonesian President Joko Widodo in the 2020 National Month of Agraria and Spatial service.
Head of the HSS National Land Agency (BPN) Tri Harnanto in Kandangan on Monday (Nov 9, 2020) said for HSS a total of 1,302 certificates would be handed over.
"So far we have submitted 323 certificates for three villages and 17 of the 29 certificates for the State Property (BMN) of the HSS government. The rest will be submitted as soon as possible," he said.
Deputy Regent Syamsuri Arsyad said as the local government representing the HSS residents he thanked the President of RI because many lands owned by the residents of the district now have the certificate of ownership.
He stated that the ownership of land certificate is very important to prove the certainty of land ownership, as well as to avoid land ownership disputes.
"We also thank the HSS National Land Agency for excellent cooperation has been carried out. In the future this cooperation will continue to be improved for the welfare of the people of HSS," he said.
The vice regent on that occasion symbolically handed over land certificates from the 2020 comprehensive systematic regislation program (PTSL) to 10 representatives of the community, and 17 land certificates for State Property (BMN) to the Head of HSS Financial Agency (Bakeuda).
