The Barito Kuala's spokesperson for COVID-19 Emergency Response Hj Azizah Sri Widari reported on Friday (Oct 30, 2020),  there was neither COVID-19 fresh case nor the addition of recovery.

But, she said, one patient was reported to die a day before. 

“Today there are no additional positive confirmed patients or recovered patients, but one patient died on Thursday (Oct 29,2020),” she said in Marabahan. 

Azizah, who is also the head of Barito Kuala (Batola) Health Office, said the patient died was a male, 62-year-old, from Marabahan with the code Btl-692. 

The number of COVID-19 patients died became 11 (1.60 percent) of the total 690 confirmed cases. While 652 patients recovered (94.49 percent), so the remaining active cases were 27 (3.91 percent). 

“Currently nine people are undergoing independent isolation and 18 people are being treated, namely in Ansari Shaleh Hospital 3, Islam Hospital 1, SKB Marabahan Quarantine 1, BTIKP Banjarmasin Quarantine 2, and Provincial Quarantine 11,” she said. 

Azizah added that in Batola there were seven suspects, one probable person, and 58 close contacts.
