Indonesia Teaching Fellowship (ITF) 2019, a training program for teachers in eight districts and cities, and in south Kalimantan held in Balangan, Tabalong, and Banjarbaru, has ended.

The collaboration program of Ruang Guru, Persada Capital Investama, and Adaro Foundation was provided for 100 more teachers. During the pandemic, the training was held offline through the Ruang Kerja app, Whatsapp group, and Zoom meetings.

A teacher at Islamic high school, MAN 1 Balangan, Eva Ria Sari, SSi, SPd, was awarded the Most Impactful Teacher in Balangan Regency, Wednesday (Oct 21, 2020). 

Eva acknowledged she felt many benefits and changes after receiving the training that could be directly applied and adopted in learning.

“Such as ways to carry out the discussion in distance learning (PJJ), digital learning techniques, and other things taught at the ITF,” said the Mathematics teacher.

At the closing of ITF, several awards were presented, namely The Most Impactful Teacher, The Most Active Teacher, and The Most Improved Teacher.

There was also the Best Teacher Design, an Impact Teacher in Balangan. While for the national level there was the Indonesian Teacher Prize.

According to Eva, the award is a motivation to continue learning and improve self-competence.

“Hopefully this activity will continue in order to improve the competence of the Indonesian teachers, especially in Balangan,” she hoped.

Previously, at the same training, another teacher Aida Rahmawati, SPd. received the Best Structured Program Design 4 (PB4) award anda student of MAN 1 Balangan Shofiyya Sholihah was awarded the 2nd Pest Participation in Balangan District.
