Indonesia Learning Fellowship (ILF) program initiated together by Ruangguru, Persada Capital Inverstama, and Adaro Foundation for high school students in a number of areas in South Kalimantan has shown success.
This is a free online learning assistance activity with the aim to support students' academic achievement and in admission to state universities.
As many as 700 participants from the districts of Tabalong, Balangan, and Banjarbaru City received the scholarship through the Ruangguru online learning service.
After a year of the program running, a number of participants got the results with up to 80 percent of passing the selection for state universities through SNMPTN and SBMPTN.
President Director of Persada Capital Inverstama Arini Subianto expressed her appreciation for the ILF program participants. “Congratulation to all students who passed the entrance test of state universities and get the opportunity to excel at a higher level," she said.
For Arini, the pandemic is not something that prevents anyone from making achievements. “Network constraints in fact cannot stop the enthusiasm of our young fellows in learning. It was evidenced by the significant increase in the average score of the test participants," she said.
Head of South Kalimantan Education Office Muhammad Yusuf Effendi appreciated Persada Capital Inverstama and Adaro Foundation for supporting this program which was able to encourage graduation rate in the university level participation.
“Thanks to Ruangguru who helped improved the quality of education in South Kalimantan," said Yusuf.
In the closing ceremony, it was announced a number of best categories of ILF program participants in Tabalong, Balangan, and Banjarbaru.
Regional Best Student ILF Tabalong: 1. Melati Noormaulidya Putri - SMAN 1 Kelua 2. Hilda Hamidah Fillah - SMAN 1 Tanjung 3. Siti Noorhalisa - SMAN 1 Muara Uya.
